The implementation of "Awat Oraman Petrochemical" project with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of "Ethylene Propylene Dynamonomer (EPDM)" by Petrol Company, for the first time in the country, eliminates the need for Iran to import this strategic product.
This strategic plan will be implemented for the first time in the country and will eliminate the need for Iran to import EPDM products. The required capital for the project was announced as 172 million Euros and continued: out of 50 thousand tons of production, 20 thousand tons of domestic needs will be provided and the rest will be exported.
Delshadi stated that Awat Oraman Petrochemical will be built in Ravansar, Kermanshah, in the Oraman region, and its land has been purchased.
According to him, in the construction of this project, efforts will be made to make maximum use of the power of domestic companies to provide the required equipment.
