According to the Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group, the memorandum of understanding for the construction of Borujen Petrochemical Park this morning (Sunday, July 11) between Iqbal Abbasi, Governor of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Sajjad Rostami, Director of the Provincial Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, Borujen MP and Rasoul Ashrafzadeh, CEO Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group Company (Petrol) was signed.
Rasoul Ashrafzadeh, CEO of Petroleum, at the signing ceremony of this memorandum, pointed to the development of complementary industries and the construction of downstream parks in order to complete the value chain and diversify products and added: "Improving the value of the product portfolio is one of Petroleum Company's priorities."
He said that moving in the petrochemical industry requires a clear plan, roadmap and strategy, adding that one of the policies of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical and Petroleum Industries Group is to develop complementary industries and build downstream parks. Ashrafzadeh, pointing out that there is a very good opportunity to expand investment in the development of value chain and complement the downstream industries in the country, said: Advanced services, insights and short-term plans will work closely with the private sector.
He considered the development and prosperity of downstream industries as one of the strategic and key capacities in the field of employment, youth attraction and prosperity of production and said: downstream industries have very valuable benefits such as high employment power, preventing crude sales and creating more added value for the province and the country. .
Increase synergy
The CEO of Petroleum emphasized the creation of petrochemical parks in order to increase the synergy between small and medium-sized units, and said that the cooperation between the devices and the participation and investment of the private sector will further strengthen the process of development, production and job creation.
Ashrafzadeh considered the construction of the petrochemical park as a turning point in the economic prosperity of the province and continued: the creation of downstream and ancillary industries is the driving force of development and job creation in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.

Development of complementary industries is one of the goals of the resistance economy

Noting that the construction of downstream parks is one of the important priorities of Petroleum, he said: Borujen Petrochemical Park annually provides 35,000 tons of polypropylene, 85,000 tons of polyethylene, 40,000 tons of styrene butadiene rubber, 150,000 tons of urea and 10,000 tons of ethylene propylene diene. The monomer is needed as a feed.
Ashrafzadeh stated that the amount of investment in this park, which is implemented in 6 zones, is about 3 thousand billion Tomans and stated: This park will create direct employment for 3130 people and indirectly 7185 people.
