According to Petrol Group's Public Relations, Rashid Ghanei, CEO of Petrol Group, and Yarifard, a board member of Bank Shahr, signed an MoU focused on financing the group's projects, particularly the ESBR production project of the Persian Gulf Sadaf Petrochemical Company and the polypropylene (PP) production project of Arghavan Gostar Ilam Company.
The second MoU was signed by Ghanei and Esmaeili, the Director of Khorasan Science and Technology Park (KSTP). Under this agreement, the following initiatives are planned:
- Collaborating on the commercialization of successful research achievements and indigenized technologies from the Science and Technology Park.
- Providing specialized technical consultancy to industrial units to address technical challenges and improve the quantity and quality of production outputs.
- Identifying the research, technological, and industrial needs of Petrol Group’s petrochemical companies and presenting them to capable technology and knowledge-based firms for localization.
- Conducting demand-driven research and development projects.
The third and final MoU was signed between Ghanei, CEO and Vice Chairman of Petrol Group, and Reza Ghadimi, CEO of FSBouyan Company. According to this agreement, the two parties will collaborate on establishing a 2,000 ton-per-year para-aminophenol (PAP) production unit to meet domestic demand and eliminate the need for imports.
It is worth noting that the Iran Petrochem Exhibition began on January 12, 2025, on Kish Island and will continue until Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
