Lordegan Petrochemical Complex on the Verge of Setting a Production Record
Despite the challenges faced by Lordegan Petrochemical Company, including a gas supply disruption lasting over a month during the first half of the year under Iran’s 13th Presidential Administration, reports indicate that the company’s experts have successfully increased production levels to compensate for the enforced shutdown.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Petrochemical Investment and Development Company (PETROL), Lordegan Petrochemical recorded remarkable production growth of 14%, 34%, and 59% in May, July, and September, respectively, compared to the same period last year. These achievements have effectively mitigated the impact of feedstock shortages (in June and August) and the resulting production halt.
Forecasts suggest that, provided the 70-day winter gas supply disruption of last year is not repeated, Lordegan Petrochemical is on the brink of breaking its annual production record.
