He added: For this purpose, we have focused on the development of petrochemicals in the southern coastal strip of the country and we have conducted studies in this field in 13 points in the south of the country.

Stating that "Chabahar and Asaluyeh are among the studied areas and have the potential to build units with the aim of completing the value chain in the petrochemical industry", Qanei said: "We have conducted studies regarding chemical fertilizer parks; We have a huge amount of sulfur in gas refineries that we can use to produce sulfuric acid.

He added: We also have a good relationship with Syria and we can use phosphates there. We also have good potassium mines in the country, so we can produce various phosphate and potash fertilizers and such fertilizers in the country that have a sulfur base.

He added: "In Parsian, the land has been determined, the infrastructure has been determined, and the National Petrochemical Industries Company itself has been entrusted with the construction of a 5 million ton methanol line that will be stretched from Asalouye to Parsian, and we hope that all of this together will bring about a good event in Parsian."
