Legal, inspection and contract affairs administrator of Petrol:
The role of the legal field will be strengthened in the Petrol’s micromanagement
The first meeting between the managers and experts in the legal affairs and contracts of Petrol’s subsidiary companies field was held with the aim of strengthening the role of the legal field in the Petrol’s micromanagement. Meysam Rahmanipanah Legal, inspection and contract affairs administrator of Petrol, mentioned that whether the managers in this field will stay or not depends on their performance completely.

According to Petrol’s public relations unit the meeting between the managers and experts in the legal affairs and contracts of Petrol’s subsidiary companies field was held on Wednesday 19th October by the presence of all the Petrol subsidiaries’ managers and experts in this field.

In this 4-hour meeting, the effects of changing the method from passive to executive in the agenda, the role of the legal field in the transactions commission and other claims were discussed. Also, the obstacles and solutions to strengthen this domain were examined and holding regular meetings between the specialized working groups was put on the agenda.

Meysam Rahmanipanah emphasized compliance with the requirements of corporate governance in this field and mentioned: “Despite the fact that each of the Petrol subsidiaries is legally independent, this does not prevent collective and integrated actions and decisions, and concentrating in the main activities is a vital factor to strengthen the companies in their current activities.”

Regarding to strengthen the role of the legal field in Petrol’s micromanagement part, he said: “We are revising the job description, duties and organizational structure of this field. Obviously, by strengthening the infrastructure that provides the maximum and effective presence of the legal field in decisions, this important factor can be achieved.”

The legal, inspection and contract affairs administrator of Petrol also added: “The necessity of complying with all laws and regulations is inevitable, and all managers in different areas should observe any decisions in terms of the rules, so that both the organization and themselves can be preserved.”

Regarding to the evaluation of the contracts and legal affairs managers of Petrol’s subsidiaries, he said: “ To strengthen the scientific and practical foundation should be among the managers' current plans and we have also planned for it, factionalism has no place in petrol and only the performance of the managers is the guarantee of their survival, which will be reviewed in turn.”

In the end, the legal managers of the subsidiaries appreciated him for holding this meeting while requesting to continue it and hold joint meetings with other related areas as well.
