At the “Developing Relations with Knowledge-based and Technological Companies” conference, which is being held by the efforts of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company, The CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Investment and Development of Additional Industries Group (Petrol) suggested that “the knowledge-based companies should make the most of the capacity of consortium building.”

According to Petrol’s public relations unit, Dr. Rashid Ghanei called the holding of a national conference with the aim of developing relations with knowledge-based companies an initiative act by the CEO of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company and stated: "Dr. Nik Ansari is a Sharif University of Technology graduate and will definitely turn Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company into a gateway for knowledge-based companies.”

 

 

Dr. Ghanei also added: “Today, with the presence of Dr. Ali Askari at the head of the largest economic enterprise in the country, a great capacity has been created for knowledge-based companies, which is the result of the holding’s management group’s mindset about the knowledge-based companies.”

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group CEO’s assistant in developing relations with knowledge-based and downstream industries, continued his speech at the first conference “Development of relations with knowledge-based and technological companies”, he considered the new support plan of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company for knowledge-based companies as a new capacity. He said: “If a knowledge-based company has produce an initiative product for the first time in the country and has no domestic competitors in this field and has succeeded in selling its product to one of the group's subsidiaries, we at the holding company will introduce and contract with other subsidiaries of the group and also will provide assistance with minimal formalities.”

 

Mr. Ghanei introduced the holding's 15 billion dollar project in progress as another attraction of the group for knowledge-based companies and suggested to these companies to participate in the group's great projects by forming a consortium.

Referring to the position of Persian Gulf Holding among the largest economic enterprises in the world, he mentioned the growing trend of this company's position as a goal and stated: “The companies of the group are developing and the implementation of the Bandar Imam PVC Petrochemical Development Plan is one of these plans. Knowledge-based companies can learn about future development plans by following the news of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group.”

 

His speech at the “Development of relations with knowledge-based and technological companies” conference was followed by considering the digital transformation as the fourth industrial revolution. Dr. Ghanei stated: “The fourth industrial revolution and digital transformation that can lead to increase productivity and therefore, is a new capacity for knowledge-based companies allowing them to enter this field in the form of associations.”

The CEO of ‘Petrol’ called the regulation and laws’ revision with the aim of increasing the presence of knowledge-based companies in the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group as an attraction for such companies and at the end suggested the domestic companies to participate and be actively present in the fourth “Supporting Domestic Manufacturing in the Petrochemical Industry” event which will be held by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group in Kish Island from 13th to 15th of February.
